Position Summary
The Corporate Maintenance Manager will work with all Bailey Products facilities and the Corporate Technical Team to cultivate a collaborative environment between operational facilities. The incumbent will be responsible for assessing equipment assets and developing plans for their short- and long-term maintenance requirements, implementing and maintaining a CMMS/EAM program. They will develop policies, procedures and processes designed to increase safety, enhance equipment reliability, productivity, and mitigate production problems. To this end, the Corporate Maintenance Manager focus will be to improve maintenance processes with the objective of reducing overall costs, increasing efficiencies, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do:
- Provide leadership and support for developing and directing equipment improvement initiatives for all company locations.
- Oversee the output and quality of work of maintenance employees at all branches.
- Manage specific long-term strategic plans and tactical implementation of maintenance systems that incorporates equipment, process and people. Assess company equipment assets to determine machine condition and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, implement, and manage centralized optimal spare parts inventory and distribution.
- Develop plans for equipment repair and enhancement as well as implement maintenance standards and procedures.
- Create and maintain production and maintenance documentation.
What you’ll need:
- 8-10 years maintenance managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
- CMM, EAM, Microsoft Office knowledge and experience required. AutoCad experience preferred.
- Preferred post-secondary (minimal high school) education, proficient speaking and writing in English.
- Knowledge of and ability to implement different maintenance strategies.
- Superior communication skills to develop effective working relationships with peers to maximize results across the organization.
- Quick learner, organized and a team Player with initiative and capable of meeting deadlines.
Working Conditions:
- Domestic travel will be required 50-75%.
- Overtime as required.
