A Galvanized Expanded Steel Plaster/Stucco Base

ClarkDietrich 3.4 Diamond V Groove Mesh Lath is distributed in Canada by Bailey Metal Products Limited.

A superior multi-purpose expanded steel base widely used for interior and exterior plaster and stucco reinforcement. The flat surface is easily cut and formed for use with flat or contoured surfaces. It is an excellent base for stone, spray on structural fireproofing, ornamental work, and under ceramic tile. Expanded metal lath is formed from sheet steel that has been slit and expanded to form thousands of plaster “keys” per square yard. Its time proven exceptional strength and flexibility makes it the preferred metal base requested by contractors and design professionals.

Diamond mesh metal lath is available with or without a Grade-D asphalt paper-backing breather sheet.

Paper Back Metal Lath 

ClarkDietrich Paper-backed lath is distributed in Canada by Bailey Metal Products Limited.

 A superior mesh multi-purpose expanded steel base with an approved Grade-D breather sheet spot attached. Application of asphalt paper-backed (APB) metal lath is used behind stone, traditional stucco and tile installations as a certified breather sheet and also aids in preventing loss of plaster when applying. It is an excellent base for spray-on structural fireproofing, ornamental work, and under ceramic tile. It provides protection against wet areas during stucco curing. The asphalt paper-backed breather sheet meets Federal Specification UUB790A: Type 1, Grade-D, Style 2 and is printed on the face of the paper for easy identification. APB is available with diamond mesh lath, self-furring dimple lath and self-furring v-groove lath.

1/8" Flat Rib Lath (Economy Lath) 

1/8" Flat Rib Lath (Economy Lath) is expanded metal lath fabricated with evenly spaced strips of solid metal that stiffen the sheet.  Ribs have a depth of not more than 1/8".  Flat Rib Lath is self-furring and its rigidity permits wider spacing of supports.  The smaller mesh also provides greater plaster economy.  Flat Rib Lath is used for all types of plastering (except contour plastering).  It’s an excellent nail-on lath and works well on flat ceilings or soffits.

3/8" Galvanized High Rib Lath

3/8" Galvanized High Rib Lath is fabricated in a herringbone mesh pattern.  The 3/8" deep longitudinal ribs permit applications on spans up to 24".  It is self-furring, when the ribs are turned inward on flat supports, and an excellent plaster base used in ceilings, soffits and for stud less solid partitions.  Used as a centering for concrete floor and roof slabs.  Edges are terminated in 1/8" inverted ribs which provide sheet lapping that does not exceed overall rib thickness.

KWIK Corner

This product is a welded wire assembly, affording a truer, stronger exterior corner.  Kwik Corner reduces cracking in Portland cement plaster.  Note:  Also available as Plastic Arch Nose Regular and Arch Kwick Corner.
